Three questions every leader should ask daily
01 Sep 2026
Good leadership isn't about walking into every room with the answer already prepared. It's about asking the right questions often enough that your team starts asking them of themselves.
The first: "What's actually blocking us right now?" Not what feels urgent — what's genuinely in the way. Teams waste enormous energy on the loudest problem instead of the real one.
The second: "Who needs something from me today that they haven't asked for?" The best support usually goes to the person who spoke up. The person who's quietly struggling and didn't ask is the one leadership actually exists for.
The third: "What did I do today that only I could have done?" If the honest answer is "not much," that's worth sitting with. Time spent on work anyone could do is time not spent leading.
None of these questions have complicated answers. The discipline is in asking them daily, not once a quarter in a review meeting.

Discipline isn't motivation — it's a system
Motivation fades. What carries you through the days it doesn't is a system built on small, repeatable habits — the same principle behind any disciplined life, on the parade ground or in the boardroom.
Why most direct sellers quit in the first 90 days
The product usually isn't the problem. It's the absence of a simple, repeatable process — and the belief to stick with it long enough to see it work.
